Job Description

JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Engineer 4 
LOCATION: Everett, WA
PAY RATE: $80.50/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies.

  • Participate in Integrated Product Teams to drive technical solutions across disciplines.

  • Lead and execute manufacturing plans and producibility analysis to ensure manufacturing capability meets design requirements.

  • Conduct design/layout and drawing reviews with a strong focus on producibility.

  • Support documentation and application of producibility best practices.

  • Evaluate design/build concepts for producibility and provide recommendations.

  • Resolve complex technical issues impacting performance, cost, or schedule.

  • Coordinate and apply new engineering principles, theories, and lean manufacturing practices.

  • Validate and ensure production readiness of manufacturing solutions.

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • 9+ years of relevant experience, including 5+ years in aerospace manufacturing.

  • Producibility expertise (non-negotiable requirement).

  • Experience with design reviews, layout and drawing analysis.

  • Proficient with CATIA, ENOVIA, 2D drawings, IVT, PDM/CAPP, and REDARS.

  • Strong understanding of aerospace specifications and standards.

  • Experience on development programs and readiness for fast-paced production environments.

  • Completed Manufacturing Engineering (ME) school or equivalent training.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Defense, Space & Security programs.

  • Familiarity with the B-52 program.

  • Background in supply chain coordination and tooling.

  • Experience supporting program start-up phases – a key asset for long-term extension opportunities.

Physical Requirements:

  • This role does not require heavy lifting, extended time on feet, confined space work, or use of body harnesses.
