JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Engineer 3

PAY RATE: $72.50/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Clearance: Active Secret Security Clearance required to start.

Qualifying Questions:

• Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?

Summary: 

• Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies.

• Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.

• Develops, identifies and implements conceptual designs and maintains program architecture for build.

• Leads and implements manufacturing plans.

• Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability matches requirements.

• Analyzes design and build concepts to evaluate producible definitions.

• Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost, or schedule.

• Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies, and concepts.

• Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems and implements lean principles.

• Reviews electrical design requirements, approves design changes, reviews non-conformance, and translates EBOM into MBOM.

Requirements:

• Active Secret Security Clearance required to start.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM field.

• 5+ years of manufacturing planning or engineering experience.

• Experience with GOLD production system.
