Job Description

JOB TITLE: Manufacturing Engineer 3 – Producibility Focus
LOCATION: Everett, WA
PAY RATE: $68.50/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (6 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies.

  • Participate in IPTs to integrate technical solutions across disciplines.

  • Lead layout and drawing reviews with a focus on producibility.

  • Evaluate and implement conceptual designs; maintain build program architecture.

  • Conduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure process capabilities meet requirements.

  • Provide producibility input for project planning and help document best practices.

  • Resolve complex technical issues impacting cost, performance, or schedule.

  • Coordinate application of new engineering theories and technologies.

  • Validate and ensure production readiness for complex systems.

  • Apply and champion lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent.

  • 5+ years of aerospace experience, with proven producibility expertise (non-negotiable).

  • Experience in design reviews, including layout and 2D drawing analysis.

  • Proficiency with:

    • CATIA

    • ENOVIA

    • IVT

    • PDM/CAPP

    • REDARS

  • Strong knowledge of aerospace specifications and standards.

  • Background in development programs.

  • Completion of Manufacturing Engineering (ME) school or equivalent – ready to contribute immediately.

  • This position does not involve heavy lifting, confined spaces, or extended time on feet.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills:

  • Defense, Space & Security experience.

  • Experience with the B-52 program.

  • Supply chain and tooling experience.

  • Program start-up background (highly valuable for long-term extension potential).
