Columbia, MO
PAY RATE: $30-50/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

  • This position is available as a contract, contract-to-hire, or full-time direct placement (direct hire is preferred).

  • Contract-to-hire: Estimated 3–6 month duration before potential conversion to permanent.

  • Contract-only: Temporary support until a permanent solution is identified.

Summary: 

  • We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer with recent Mastercam programming experience to support machining operations by writing and troubleshooting CNC programs for 3-4 axis mills.

  • Create CNC programs using Mastercam for 3-4 axis milling operations

  • Troubleshoot programming issues directly on the shop floor

  • Review and interpret engineering prints, GD&T, and tolerances

  • Investigate and implement improvements to increase efficiency

  • Manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience programming CNC mills (3-4 axis) using Mastercam

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Able to pass a background check

  • Understanding of engineering prints, tolerances, and GD&T

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and adaptable to new tools

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills:

  • Flexible and adaptive mindset

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience inspecting machined aluminum parts

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
