Job Description

JOB TITLE: Electro-Mechanical Assembly - 2nd Shift 
LOCATION: Owego, NY
PAY RATE: Up to $20/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Shift: 2nd Shift (3:30 PM – 1:30 AM, Monday–Thursday)

  • Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation

Summary: 

  • Perform a variety of assembly tasks on electronic and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies, including modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables.

  • Work from diagrams and drawings to make initial layouts using hand and power tools.

  • Conduct continuity checks on work in process and completed assemblies.

  • May perform quality inspections on the production line following quality standards.

  • Responsible for disassembling, modifying, reworking, reassembling, and testing experimental or prototype assemblies under simulated conditions as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Production assembly, use of hand/power tools, interpreting diagrams and drawings, continuity testing, quality inspections, prototype assembly and testing

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
