JOB TITLE: MP&P Technical Analyst 5 – NDE & Measurement 
LOCATION: Berkeley, MO
PAY RATE: $78/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract to Hire | 6-Month Contract | First Shift

  • Duration: 6 months, with opportunity for permanent hire after successful contract period.

  • Security Clearance Requirement: This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.U.S. Citizenship is required by the U.S. Government. An interim and/or final Secret clearance may be required after start.

Summary: 

  • Apply nondestructive evaluation (NDE) methods including acoustic, electromagnetic, thermal, optical, and radiologic techniques to analyze parts, materials, processes, and equipment.

  • Conduct complex failure analyses to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.

  • Develop and execute test plans to evaluate parts and processes.

  • Identify and categorize failures, document results, and provide technical recommendations.

  • Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

  • Lead development, revision, and validation of testing procedures and specifications.

  • Evaluate the suitability of parts, materials, and processes and coordinate issue resolution with suppliers and customers.

  • Support audits, investigations, and root cause analyses as a subject matter expert.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including development and implementation of new technologies and testing approaches.

  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.

  • Support team leadership and assist with strategy development and technical consultation.

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

  • Typical qualifications include:

    • Bachelor’s degree + 7 years of related experience, or

    • 11+ years of related work experience

  • 5+ years of experience in Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE/NDT)

  • ASNT Level II certification in Eddy Current and Ultrasonic testing

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with engineering and design tools such as:

    • CAD/CAM

    • CATIA

    • Mentor Graphics

    • Unigraphics

  • Ability to travel at least 10%

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of hands-on NDE/NDT engineering experience in a regulated industry (aerospace, defense, or energy)

  • Experience with multiple NDE methods including:

    • Ultrasonic Testing

    • Radiography

    • Eddy Current Testing

    • Penetrant Inspection

  • ASNT Level II certification in multiple NDE methods

  • Experience working in cross-functional engineering teams

  • Knowledge of materials behavior, stress analysis, and fracture mechanics

  • Experience with project management tools

  • Strong ability to manage multiple projects across locations

  • Active Secret Clearance (preferred but not required)
