JOB TITLE: MP&P Technical Analyst Level 3
LOCATION: Huntsville, AL
PAY RATE: $47.50/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Applies nondestructive evaluation methods using acoustic, electromagnetic, thermal, optical, and radiologic principles to analyze parts, materials, processes, technology, or equipment.

  • Conducts complex analysis of failed parts and processes to reduce or eliminate future failures.

  • Generates test plans, identifies and categorizes failures, determines root cause, and documents results and recommendations.

  • Determines suitability of parts, materials, and processes and coordinates resolution of issues with suppliers and customers.

  • Leads proposal, development, and validation of revisions to procedures and specifications.

  • Supports audits, root cause analyses, and failure investigations as a subject matter expert.

  • Supports continuous improvement of products and processes by designing, developing, fabricating, testing, evaluating, and implementing new concepts and technology.

  • Provides technical consultation and mentoring to junior engineers and technicians on NDE methods.

  • Utilizes computer aided design tools and systems such as CATIA, Unigraphics, or Mentor Graphics.

  • Maintains compliance with contractual and regulatory obligations for NDE activities.

Requirements:

  • Secret or minimum Interim secret required to start.

  • Early Career (Level 1) Associate – Technical degree

  • Mid-Career (Level 3) Associate – Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

  • Associate – AA degree in a related discipline and typically 3 or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • 1+ years of experience in Nondestructive Evaluation.

  • Knowledge of computer aided design tools and systems (e.g., CATIA, Unigraphics, Mentor Graphics).

  • Experience with nondestructive evaluation processes including ultrasonic testing, radiography, eddy current testing, and penetrant inspection.

  • Preferred: ASNT Level 2 certification in multiple NDE processes (ultrasonic, radiography, eddy current, penetrant).

  • Strong understanding of materials behavior, stress analysis, and fracture mechanics.

  • Experience with project management tools.

  • Excellent time management skills to manage multiple simultaneous projects.

  • Ability to work in multi-discipline technical teams.
