Summary:
Author Non-Destructive Test (NDT) procedures.
Incorporate revisions authored by the method Responsible Level III into the standard procedure review process.
Develop Computer-Aided Drawings (CAD) of specialized calibration standards.
Set up non-destructive test or measurement equipment to calibration standards.
Create procedure figures detailing inspection location, geometry, accessibility, probe/transducer placement, and notch signal response.
Report potential adverse trends or anomalous inspection results.
Requirements:
Associate (AA) degree in a related discipline and typically 3+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
1+ years of education or experience in Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) or Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work variable shifts, overtime, and occasional weekends as needed.
Ability to travel up to 15%.
Ability to work in confined spaces.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
800 hours of Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
300 hours of Ultrasonic Shear-Wave Testing.
800 hours of Eddy Current Testing (ET).
Experience with CAD software.
Experience writing UT and ET techniques and inspection procedures.
