JOB TITLE: MH-139 Aircraft Maintenance Technician - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Cheyenne, WY
PAY RATE: $43/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Clearance: This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance. U.S. citizenship is required, and a clearance that has been active within the past 24 months is considered current

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Perform assembly, disassembly, modification, and overhaul of aerospace vehicle systems

  • Troubleshoot pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems

  • Conduct validation and verification testing

  • Document maintenance and inspection results to meet regulatory and contractual requirements

  • Inspect and verify repairs for flight worthiness

  • Work under general direction in a high-paced operational environment

  • 100% onsite work required

Requirements:

  • This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance. U.S. citizenship is required, and a clearance that has been active within the past 24 months is considered current

  • High school diploma or GED with 4+ years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience (vocational school, associate degree, bachelor’s, etc.).

    Minimum 3 years of military aircraft maintenance experience

  • Knowledge of aircraft tools and test equipment (torque wrenches, micrometers, dial indicators, sheet metal tools, etc.)

  • Willingness to work variable shifts

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MH-139 maintenance or modification experience

  • Rotorcraft maintenance experience

  • A&P License (current or previously held)

  • General Mechanic experience
