JOB TITLE: Logistics Management Analyst - DEFENSE

PAY RATE: $42/hour

Summary: 

  • Manage the efficient flow of goods, services, and information from origin to final customer.

  • Ensure alignment with customer requirements and organizational objectives.

  • Support timely execution of logistics functions within financial and operational constraints.

  • Contribute to marketing and financial goals through effective logistics execution.

  • Execute and continuously improve logistics processes, including replenishment systems, demand management, data interchange, and electronic systems administration.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic customers through targeted logistics initiatives.

  • Integrate insights from customers, competitors, internal operations, and industry best practices to enhance logistics performance and competitiveness.

Requirements:

  • ​​​​Comprehensive knowledge of DoD policies and procedures related to Supply Chain, Property, and Inventory Management (e.g., DoD 4100.39, 4140.01, 4160.21, 4160.28, 5000.64, 8320.04).
  • Familiarity with DoD and Service-level logistics systems such as:

    • Federal Logistics Information System (FLIS)

    • FEDLOG

    • Army Enterprise Systems Integration Program (AESIP)

    • H2 Federal Supply Classification (FSC)

    • H6 Item Name Directory

    • Logistics Modernization Program (LMP)

    • Global Combat Support System - Marine Corps / Army (GCSS-MC and GCSS-A)

    • Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS)

  • Strong understanding of cross-service supply chain data interoperability.

  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted.

  • Willingness and ability to travel CONUS and OCONUS as required.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks while meeting tight deadlines.

  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.

  • Familiarity with Special Operations Logistics Management System (SOLMAN).

  • Experience with Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
