JOB TITLE: Licensed A&P Mechanic - Ontario, CA

LOCATION: Ontario, CA

PAY RATE: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour

  • This position will start December 26, 2024 after the holidays at Ontario Airport, California.

Summary: 

This is a very exciting opportunity to work with one of the world's most exciting aerospace companies!

This individual will provide technical assistance and labor for any and all problems associated with aircraft repairs as well as coordinate with the maintenance department leads and supervisors to ensure a safe and efficient repair and timely return to service of the aircraft.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure tasks assigned by Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor are carried out by the team in an efficient manner

  • Coordinate with parts department to ensure that all materials are in stock or on order to complete the project on time.

  • Open work orders and build maintenance books as required

  • Provide inspection support as authorized by Chief Inspector

  • Perform inspections, maintenance and troubleshooting of aircraft systems

  • Ensure all customer aircraft are maintained in accordance with the procedures outlined in the applicable Aircraft Maintenance Manual and customers General Maintenance Manual

  • Exercise good judgment in working with people in a team environment as well as in aircraft maintenance and safety

  • Maintain and/or repair shop facility, equipment and tooling to support operations.

Required Skills:

  • This client program REQUIRES: U.S. born persons with no dual citizenship.

  • Violation free A&P License required

  • Must have own tools necessary for the job

  • Must have experience doing the following:

  • Pull aicraft panels

  • Inspect for discrepancies

  • Fix any identified issues found

  • Return panels and aircraft to flight readiness state

  • Have at least 3 years of relevant experience working in a Part 145 environment, Part 135 experience

  • 3+ years of experience with military fixed wing or commercial aircraft is required. (Exp with military experimental aircraft preferred.)

  • Factory or aircraft specific Training preferred

  • Must be proficient in the operation of standard office equipment and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

  • Driver’s License with no major infractions required

  • High school diploma or GED
