Job Title: Liaison/MRB Stress Engineer

Summary:

  • Perform stress analysis for aircraft primary structures using classical and finite element (FE) methods.

  • Conduct static strength, stability, fatigue, and damage tolerance analyses following industry standards.

  • Design structural repairs and assess modifications to ensure structural integrity.

  • Analyze and evaluate both metallic and composite structures.

  • Prepare detailed stress analysis reports and develop analysis packages.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry, or equivalent technical education.

  • 8+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

Desired Skills:

  • Expertise in aircraft structural repair design and analysis, especially fuselage and wing structures.

  • Familiarity with Boeing structural analysis tools (e.g., CSW, DTANAL) is a plus.

  • Strong technical writing and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and provide progress updates.

  • Knowledge of repair concepts, including station processes, component repairs, procedures, warranties, and contractual agreements.
