JOB TITLE: Inspector - CCA Solder
LOCATION: Clearwater, FL
PAY RATE: $26-28/hour

Summary: 

  • Responsible for visually inspecting solder and conformal coating of circuit card assemblies (CCAs) in accordance with IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 standards.

  • The role includes using drawings, written inspection instructions, and various measuring devices (dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, etc.) to ensure CCAs meet manufacturing and industry specifications.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Ability to work under a microscope for long periods (up to 10 hours)

  • Ability to sit at a workstation for extended periods

  • Prior experience in solder inspection or as an assembly build operator for CCAs in accordance with IPC-A-610 & IPC-J-STD-001

  • Minimum 2 years of solder/visual inspection experience, or alternatively, 2 years of manufacturing/soldering experience with electronic assemblies

  • Minimum 1 year of conformal coating experience

  • Detail-oriented and quality/process focused; proficient in interpreting drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC standards, revision control, reference documents, and work instructions

  • Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient with personal computers

  • Able to interface effectively and diplomatically with all levels of manufacturing when addressing quality defects

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
