JOB TITLE: Inspector - CCA - 1st Shift

PAY RATE: Up to $27/hour

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM EST (OT on weekends)

Summary: 

• Performs visual inspection of solder and conformal coating on circuit card assemblies in accordance with IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001 standards.

• Uses drawings, checklists, and measuring tools (e.g., dial indicators, micrometers, scales) to verify compliance with manufacturing and industry specifications.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

• 2+ years of solder/visual inspection experience, or 3+ years of circuit card assembly manufacturing/soldering experience

• 1+ year of conformal coating inspection experience on CCAs

• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, diagrams, parts lists, IPC standards, and work instructions

• Must be able to work under a microscope

• 2–4 years’ experience with:

  • IPC-A-610

  • IPC-J-STD-001

  • Visual inspection

  • Measuring tools

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Team player with attention to detail and process discipline

• Comfortable using a computer and navigating inspection documentation

• Able to professionally address and communicate quality concerns across manufacturing teams

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
