JOB TITLE: Information Technology Engineer 3
LOCATION: Oklahoma City, OK
PAY RATE: $66/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Manage team structure and enforce naming conventions within Azure DevOps.

  • Manage Area Path structure (controls read/write permissions and serves as core WBS ontology).

  • Manage and standardize Iteration Path structure (enables dashboards and standardized queries).

  • Educate teams on Azure DevOps out-of-the-box (OOTB) functionality to reduce unnecessary customization requests.

  • Oversee ongoing maintenance of Azure DevOps projects to ensure operational stability.

  • Monitor project performance and implement updates and optimizations as needed.

  • Identify opportunities for AI integration within existing tools to enhance functionality.

  • Provide training and support on Azure DevOps best practices and AI-enabled capabilities.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Azure DevOps environment.

  • Works under general direction of the senior manager.

  • Defines and validates requirements for new and revised hardware and software systems.

  • Designs, develops, and tests applications.

  • Performs trade studies and analytical evaluations to determine optimal technical solutions.

  • Develops and deploys new or revised processes in support of computing systems, including documentation and training.

  • Supports development of system integration strategies and architectures that promote common tools and standardized processes.

  • Facilitates integration of new technologies and transition from legacy systems to meet evolving business requirements.

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (not required to start).

  • Bachelor’s degree and typically 5 or more years of experience in an engineering classification; OR Master’s degree and typically 3 or more years of experience in an engineering classification; OR PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.

  • 3+ years of Azure DevOps experience.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with various levels of the organization, including technical teams and senior leadership.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Software coding experience.
