JOB TITLE: IT Support Specialist

PAY RATE: $39/hour 
LOCATION: Bridgeport, WV

• Contract Length: 7–8 months (Potential Extension)

Summary: 

• Provide end-user technical support and manage ticket queues efficiently.

• Administer and maintain Windows Server 2016+ and desktop operating systems.

• Support email systems including account configuration, password resets, and access troubleshooting.

• Troubleshoot system and networking alerts using monitoring tools.

• Perform basic virtualization administration (e.g., VM reboots, resource allocation).

• Support domain services, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.

• Troubleshoot Windows/Mobile OS, Remote Desktop, and VPN (SSL/IPSec).

• Provide support for Office 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams) via GUI and PowerShell.

• Assist with patch management, vulnerability resolution, and Microsoft AutoPilot.

• Support and maintain backup solutions.

• Troubleshoot remote access and A/V systems.

• Maintain IT documentation and adhere to evolving standards.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree OR 4 years of equivalent IT experience.

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on IT support/helpdesk/MSP experience.

• Must be a U.S. Person (per Export Compliance regulations).

• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work on computers for extended periods.

Desired Skills:

• Certifications: Security+ (CompTIA), MS-900, AZ-900.

• Previous experience in an MSP or fast-paced IT environment.

• Intermediate experience with backup systems and remote tools (e.g., RDP).

• Familiarity with network fundamentals and patch/vulnerability management.
