JOB TITLE: Ground Support Equipment Mechanic  
LOCATION: 
Cheyenne, WY
PAY RATE: Up to $42/hour

Summary: 

  • Seeking an Experienced MH-139 Ground Support Equipment Mechanic to support the MH-139 program.

  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on diesel/gas engines, hydraulic power units, heaters, air conditioners, and associated ground handling gear

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and structural components of ground support equipment

  • Oversee assembly, disassembly, and overhaul of equipment

  • Conduct calibration and testing preparations

  • Execute corrosion control tasks, including cleaning, priming, painting metal surfaces, and fabricating simple parts to maintain equipment functionality

  • Perform validation/verification testing on systems and components

  • Document procedures and ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements (e.g., repairs, inspections, modifications)

  • Inspect components and verify proper repairs

  • Work independently under general direction

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 4+ years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational school + 2 years, Associate degree, or Bachelor's degree with related experience)

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in aircraft and ground support equipment maintenance

  • Thorough understanding of ground safety protocols including lockout/tagout, spill prevention, and proper PPE use

  • Willingness to work variable shifts

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with MH-139 maintenance or modifications

  • General mechanical experience across systems and platforms
