JOB TITLE: FPGA Design/Verification Engineer
LOCATION: 
Onsite – Littleton/Waterton, CO
PAY RATE: $90–$100/hour, 1st Shift, 5/40

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Architect and implement ASIC prototyping solutions using industry-standard platforms, including Synopsys HAPS.

  • Map ASIC RTL to emulation and FPGA-based platforms.

  • Develop and execute validation plans for complex ASIC and FPGA designs.

  • Validate and qualify ASIC and FPGA designs through simulation, hardware emulation, and lab bring-up.

  • Collaborate with Systems Architects, RTL designers, ASIC verifiers, and software developers to create representative ASIC platforms.

  • Provide support and technical direction to junior engineers.

  • Create thorough documentation of prototyping implementation and test flows.

Requirements:

  • Clearance: Ability to Obtain

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field.

  • Experience developing ASIC prototypes on FPGA platforms such as Synopsys HAPS.

  • Detailed understanding of FPGA implementation flow.

  • Ability to develop test plans for ASIC prototypes.

  • Strong hardware debugging skills.

  • Familiarity with data streaming and packet-based protocols (Ethernet, UCIe, JESD204).

  • Ability to automate and develop scripts for implementation and testing flows.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
