JOB TITLE: F-18 Seat Systems
LOCATION:

PAY RATE: Up to $44/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Clearance: Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Maintain and service F/A-18 aircraft seats, ejection systems, and associated life support equipment

  • Remove, install, and inspect oxygen system valves, gauges, converters, and regulators

  • Rig ejection seats, shoulder harnesses, lap belts, and Cartridge Actuation Devices (CADs)

  • Perform daily, pre/post-flight, and periodic aircraft inspections

  • Support flight operations including turnaround, launch, recovery, and plane captain duties

  • Troubleshoot and repair complex pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems

  • Assemble/disassemble components and perform system upgrades or modifications

  • Ensure all maintenance activity is documented in compliance with regulatory and contractual standards

  • Conduct flight-worthiness inspections and assist in training efforts

  • Prioritize quality and safety in all tasks

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance, which mandates U.S. Citizenship as required by the U.S. Government.

  • An interim and/or final Secret Clearance will be required after the start of employment.

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Minimum 4 years of aircraft maintenance experience

  • Hands-on experience with ejection systems

  • Experience removing, installing, and inspecting aircraft systems and tools

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs

  • Must wear PPE (steel-toe boots, safety glasses, high-visibility jacket, hard hat)

Preferred Skills:

  • Navy AME experience

  • Prior F/A-18 maintenance background
