JOB TITLE: F-18 Avionics Technician - DEFENSE
LOCATION: NAS Lemoore, CA
PAY RATE: $29-34/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

• Plan, conduct, and document tests on avionics systems and subsystems.

• Investigate, analyze, and resolve test issues and anomalies.

• Contribute to the development of original test plans and recommend improvements to test procedures and processes.

• Plan preventive maintenance and ensure the readiness and availability of test systems.

• Train and guide entry-level personnel in routine test processes and equipment operation.

• Identify and recommend new test equipment, processes, and methods.

• Perform work requiring extensive technical experience, judgment, and interpretation of general requirements to meet specific test objectives.

• Develop new test methods and introduce innovative improvements to existing test procedures, processes, and equipment.

• Provide on-the-job training to intermediate-level personnel, supporting them through complex testing challenges.

Requirements:

• Active Secret Clearance (required prior to start).

• High school diploma or GED

• 1+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Ability to perform complex fault isolation on avionics equipment.

• Aerospace-quality soldering skills.

• Proficiency using multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other fault isolation equipment.

• Strong understanding of electronics and avionics theory.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Depot-level F-18 avionics repair experience.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
