JOB TITLE: F-16 Sheet Metal Mechanic 
LOCATION: Greenville, SC
PAY RATE: $34-38/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Shift Requirements (Must be able to work 1st, 2nd, or weekend shifts):

    • 1st Shift: Mon–Thurs, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

    • 2nd Shift: Mon–Thurs, 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM

    • Weekend Shift: Varies by area

  • Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation

Qualifying Questions:

  • Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

  • Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary: 

  • Interpret blueprints and fastener layouts to fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal and structural assemblies on F-16 aircraft.

  • Perform precision drilling/reaming, riveting, countersinking, and part trimming.

  • Conduct hands-on build-up of fuselage structural components using precision measurement tools.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Aircraft Sheet Metal Repairs: 4–6 years

  • Precision Drilling: 4–6 years

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills:

  • Blueprint Reading: 2–4 years

  • Precision Measurement: 2–4 years
