JOB TITLE: F-16 Avionics Technician Level 3 - DEFENSE

PAY RATE: $34-38/hour

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• 1st Shift: Mon–Thu, 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM

• 2nd Shift: Mon–Thu, 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM

• Clearance: Must have or be in process at start

Summary: 

• As a Production Flightline Avionics Technician Level 3, you will support Flightline Operations for F-16 aircraft, including:

  • Installing electrical harnesses and components

  • Routing wires and cables

  • Terminating cables/wires and performing continuity checks

  • Conducting operational/system testing to ensure flight readiness

  • Troubleshooting and repairing electrical and avionics systems

  • Assisting with general mechanical installs, testing, and inspections as needed

• Work closely with the Greenville Production Flightline and Delivery Team to support aircraft launch and recovery operations.

Requirements:

• Clearance: Must have or be in process at start

• Minimum 1–2 years of flightline maintenance experience

• Experience with avionics testing (preferred: 6+ years)

• Experience with F-16 aircraft systems (preferred: 6+ years)

• Fighter aircraft experience (F-16, F-18, F-22, F-35) preferred

• Ability to work either 1st or 2nd shift after training

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
