JOB TITLE: F-16 APG Systems Technician - DEFENSE (Hotel Support)
LOCATION: Greenville, SC
PAY RATE: Up to $38/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Hotel Support: First-week hotel support available for qualified candidates – please check with your recruiter for details.

Clearance: SECRET clearance (not required to start; initiated at offer stage)

Shift: 1st (5:30 AM–4:00 PM) or 2nd shift (3:00 PM–1:30 AM)

Summary:
-
Perform and assist with launch, recovery, preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight inspections
-
Conduct ground handling, maintenance, engine runs, operational checkouts, and servicing
-
Troubleshoot, install, repair, and maintain electro-mechanical and pneumatic aircraft systems
-
Ensure condition and acceptability of electrical, hydraulic-pneumatic, propulsion, landing gear, flight controls, airframe, furnishings, and crew escape systems

Remove panels and hardware to access equipment for repairs

Knowledge of aircraft systems including landing gear, powerplants, flight controls, fueling/defueling, and aircraft movement/launch & recovery
Requirements:

SECRET clearance (not required to start; initiated at offer stage)

High School Diploma or GED
-
6–8+ years of F-16 or related fighter flightline experience

Experience as Crew Chief, Plane Captain, or military aircraft mechanic

Aircraft Launch and Recovery knowledge
-
Aircraft systems operation expertise

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
