JOB TITLE: F-16 APG Mechanic - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Greenville, SC
PAY RATE: $34-40/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Shift: Must be flexible to work 1st, 2nd, or Weekend Shift (assigned after training based on team needs)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
-
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and modify aircraft systems and powerplants.
-
Support final assembly, aircraft checkout, maintenance, and delivery operations.
-
Perform maintenance and operational support for:
-
Landing gear
-
Powerplants
-
Flight controls
-
Fueling/Defueling
-
Aircraft movement, launch, and recovery
-
-
Follow established maintenance procedures, specifications, and quality standards.
-
Support flight readiness and production operations in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
Requirements:
-
5+ years of recent aircraft maintenance experience (4+ years considered with relevant fighter aircraft experience).

Experience with:

Phase Maintenance

Final Assembly
-
Flight Operations / Flight Readiness

Experience on fighter aircraft preferred, but not required.

Strong knowledge of aircraft systems operation and maintenance.

Ability to work 1st, 2nd, or Weekend shift after training based on business need.

Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:

Active Secret Clearance preferred, but not required.
-
Military or fighter aircraft maintenance background strongly preferred.
