JOB TITLE: Equipment & Tool Engineer 3
LOCATION: Everett, WA
PAY RATE: $72.50/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies for aerospace manufacturing.

  • Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.

  • Develops, identifies, and implements conceptual designs and maintains the program architecture for build.

  • Leads and implements manufacturing plans for production operations.

  • Conducts producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability matches requirements.

  • Analyzes design and build concepts to evaluate producible design and build definitions.

  • Resolves technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost, or schedule.

  • Coordinates and implements new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies, and concepts.

  • Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems.

  • Implements lean principles and technologies in manufacturing processes.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or non-US equivalent directly related to the work statement.

  • 9 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience with manufacturing engineering and factory tools such as CREO, CATIA, MES, DELMIA, or equivalent.

  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci).

  • Experience with CINCOM manufacturing systems.

  • Experience with process qualification, lean manufacturing, and automation or robotics.

  • Experience reviewing and approving other engineers’ work including installation plans, tool orders, and line stock checks.

  • Experience with 3D model-based instruction (MBD) for manufacturing.

  • Experience supporting defense or aerospace customers with complex manufacturing programs.
