JOB TITLE: Equipment & Tool Engineer 3
LOCATION: Auburn, WA
PAY RATE: $72.50/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

  • Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

  • Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary: 

  • Evaluates program and project requirements to develop complex equipment and tooling concepts and designs solutions for the Production System.

  • Compiles and analyzes technical data to determine effects on product engineering design and rate estimates.

  • Identifies robotics, automation or technology recommendations and system integration for equipment and tooling.

  • Ensures compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.

  • Validates contractual performance milestones and maintains configuration control.

  • Conducts reviews and prepares plans for production readiness, preventative maintenance, and spares.

  • Conducts training for Production and Maintenance personnel on equipment and tooling.

  • Develops and implements work-arounds and maintains configuration of hardware, software and documentation.

  • Performs studies and makes recommendations for disposition of assets.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.

  • 3 or more years of experience working in an engineering discipline.

  • 3 or more years of experience with production systems in a manufacturing or engineering capacity.

  • 5 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Preferred: Experience working in a production environment.
