JOB TITLE: Entry-Level Electrical/Electronic Fabrication Technician $5,000 Relocation Bonus
LOCATION: North Charleston, SC
PAY RATE: Up to $31/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Bonus: $5,000 paid to those over 80 miles from the site on first paycheck (bonus must be returned in full if candidate leaves before 6 months for any reason)

  • Shift: Variable (1st, 2nd, or 3rd based on business needs)

  • Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

  • Performs routine production assembly operations on structural, mechanical, and aircraft systems using manual tools and techniques.

  • This includes functional testing, troubleshooting, and fault repair of electrical systems.

  • Assemble structural and mechanical subassemblies and systems.

  • Perform functional testing and troubleshoot aircraft electrical systems.

  • Document test and analysis results to verify compliance.

  • Identify and escalate production constraints and roadblocks.

  • Support team success through cross-training and mentoring.

  • Maintain strict adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Vocational training or associate degree preferred.

  • Role is non-managerial and non-leadership.

  • 1+ years in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing.

  • 1+ years in electrical assembly or electronic materials handling.

  • 1+ years troubleshooting avionics systems and installing wire bundles.

  • 1+ years reading/interpreting blueprints and following detailed work instructions.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, internet navigation, and related software tools.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to work variable shifts as needed.

  • Physically capable of: bending, kneeling, standing, climbing, crawling, crouching, and working in confined spaces or at heights.
