Job Description

JOB TITLE: Entry-Level Aircraft Structures Assembler – Free Housing Support 
LOCATION: North Charleston, SC
PAY RATE: $26-32/hour

Job Details:

  • Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Performs routine structural and mechanical assembly on aircraft systems and components using manual operations and power tools.

  • Requires regular, predictable attendance and adherence to safety standards.

  • Use tools including high/low-speed drills, nut runners, Quackenbush, etc.

  • Set up and validate jigs and fixtures

  • Perform close-tolerance drilling, fastener installation/removal, and precision measuring

  • Work with CFRP, aluminum, and titanium for structural assembly (drilling, sanding, trimming, shimming)

  • Non-managerial, non-leadership role

Requirements:

  • Aircraft experience required 

  • High School diploma/GED and 1+ year of related experience or equivalent (e.g., vocational/technical training)

  • 6+ months experience in aircraft reading/interpreting blueprints, specs, and work instructions in English

  • 6+ months using hand/power/pneumatic tools in manufacturing or mechanical roles

  • 6+ months experience with aircraft structural part fabrication and assembly processes (not automotive assembly).

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications

  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, kneeling, climbing, bending, twisting, and working with hazardous chemicals

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
