Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)
Schedule: 4/10A – 1st Shift
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance is required to start.

Summary:
Design major components, functional systems, advanced prototypes, or specific products.
Develop or improve products and support manufacturing operations.
Create preliminary layouts, sketches, and notes to present design proposals.
Evaluate design factors such as manufacturability, material availability, interchangeability, strength-to-weight efficiency, specifications, and cost.
Coordinate with affected organizations during design development.
Prepare layouts of assemblies and detailed parts of devices, mechanisms, structures, and products.
Review layouts and drawings for clarity, completeness, adherence to standards, and accuracy of calculations and dimensions.
Identify design errors or omissions and recommend improvements to responsible engineers or designers.
Requirements:
Active Secret Clearance is required to start.
Structures: 4–6 years
CATIA (3D Design Software) & 3Dx (Data Manager): 2–4 years
Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T): 2–4 years
Part Tolerancing: 2–4 years
Design Experience: 2–4 years in primary/secondary structures, component layout, tolerance studies, ASME Y14.5 GTOL, and trade studies
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
