JOB TITLE: Components Engineer
LOCATION: Andover, MA
PAY RATE: $70/hour
We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?

Summary:
-
Create and manage EEE and EME parts in Windchill (or similar PLM system)
-
Maintain and update Bill of Materials (BOM) as needed
-
Plan and coordinate technical documentation (drawings, change updates, etc.)
-
Monitor component lifecycle using obsolescence tools (e.g., SiliconExpert)
-
Identify and address supply chain risks and part availability issues
-
Support part standardization and consolidation efforts
-
Collaborate with internal teams and customers to ensure data accuracy and alignment
Requirements:
-
Ability to obtain a security clearance
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering Technology
-
5+ years of professional experience
-
Experience creating and maintaining parts in PLM/EPDM systems (e.g., Windchill)
-
Strong collaboration skills working with cross-functional teams and customers
-
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
-
Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Experience supporting missile or defense programs
-
Familiarity with mil-spec or automotive-grade components
