JOB TITLE: Embedded Software Engineer - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Orlando, FL
PAY RATE: $71.59/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Seeking a skilled real-time C/C++ embedded software engineer with 5+ years of experience in Linux/real-time operating systems on multi-core processors.

  • Candidate will work onsite and collaborate on software/firmware/hardware development and integration projects.

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

  • 5+ years of C/C++ embedded real-time object-oriented development on Linux with multi-core processors.

  • 5+ years of hands-on software, firmware, and hardware development and integration experience.

  • 3+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) using GitLab or Bitbucket.

  • Working knowledge of C++ design patterns for embedded software development.

  • Experience with Yocto operating system.

  • Familiarity with Data Distribution System (DDS) middleware programming (preferred).

  • Familiarity with containerized development and deployment.

  • Knowledge of DevSecOps processes and tools, including Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and Automated Testing.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
