Job Description

JOB TITLE: Embedded Software Developer 
LOCATION: Orlando, FL
PAY RATE: $71.59/hour

*** Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR). ***

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Security Clearance: Active Secret Clearance preferred - Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (not required to start)

  • Shift: 4/10A – 1st Shift (Mon–Thu, 10 hours/day)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Strong expertise in C/C++ embedded software development for operational flight programs.

  • Develop and integrate software on Intel multi-core processors using Yocto/FreeRTOS operating systems.

  • Position requires full-time onsite work in Orlando, FL.

Requirements:

  • Active Secret Clearance preferred - Must have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance (not required to start)

  • 6+ years of C/C++ object-oriented embedded software development & integration

  • 6+ years of multi-core processor software development

  • 6+ years of CMake/build system experience

  • 6+ years of experience with Agile Scrum processes

  • 6+ years with software configuration control tools (GitLab, Bitbucket, or equivalent)

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with OpenSplice/Cyclone DDS

  • Understanding of Modular Open Systems Architecture (MOSA)

  • Experience with containerization (development & deployment)

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing
