JOB TITLE: Embedded S/W Engineer
LOCATION: Orlando, FL
PAY RATE: $102.88/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Clearance: Active Secret clearance required.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Performs all phases of software development from requirements analysis through code implementation and formal qualification testing.

  • Develops real-time embedded software using Ada programming language.

  • Performs integration and test activities involving software and hardware.

  • Applies Linux and VxWorks operating systems for embedded development.

  • Uses GitLab CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment.

  • Works with multi-disciplined teams on software engineering projects.

  • Implements software solutions for missile and fire control systems.

  • Supports qualification testing for system validation.

  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams for software delivery.

  • Adheres to embedded software development lifecycle processes.

Requirements:

  • Active Secret clearance required.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

  • 3+ years of real-time embedded software development experience using Ada programming language.

  • 3+ years of integration and test experience involving software and hardware.

  • Desired: Experience with Linux or VxWorks operating systems.

  • Desired: Experience as a software engineer working with multi-disciplined teams.

  • Desired: Experience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience with requirements analysis and code implementation.

  • Experience with formal qualification testing.
