JOB TITLE: Embedded S/W Engineer
LOCATION: Grand Prairie, TX
PAY RATE: $113.22/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Clearance: Active Secret clearance required

Summary: 

• Performs analysis of requirements for embedded software systems.

• Develops architecture and design for embedded software.

• Implements embedded software using C and C++ (version 11 or higher).

• Develops embedded software for real-time systems on Linux and Real-Time Operating Environment.

• Performs integration and testing of embedded software with hardware.

• Works with Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) systems for real-time embedded systems.

• Uses simulation systems for software validation and verification.

• Applies full software development life cycle experience.

• Uses Git, Gitlab, and JIRA for version control and project tracking.

• Supports flight testing of missile subsystem.

Requirements:

• Active Secret clearance required.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

• Proficiency in C and C++ (version 11 or higher).

• Proficiency in Linux systems and Real-Time Operating Environment.

• Previous Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) experience working with real-time embedded systems.

• Experience with simulation systems.

• Preferred: Ada programming language experience.

• Preferred: Full software development life cycle experience.

• Preferred: Experience with Git, Gitlab, and JIRA.
