JOB TITLE: Electronics Test Technician

Summary:
Perform testing, troubleshooting, and calibration of electronic assemblies and units, ensuring compliance with procedures, standards, and specifications.
Support production and engineering teams in evaluating and improving products.
Set up and conduct tests on electronic assemblies per established methods and specifications.
Assemble and adjust units for production electronic equipment.
Calibrate and correct malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing components.
Use hand tools, power tools, and testing devices such as Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, Frequency Standards, Signal Generators, and RF Power Meters.
Analyze test results, suggest modifications, and assist engineers in developing test procedures.
Troubleshoot to the component level using schematic diagrams on analog, digital, and RF circuits.
Ensure product quality by following statistical process controls or other quality procedures.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance actions using Microsoft Suite and data collection programs.
Requirements:
1+ year of direct experience in component-level troubleshooting of solid-state, digital, and RF circuits.
Experience with high-power testing and flying probe testing.
Ability to read and write English.
Must pass a medical exam per supplier guidelines.
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Work hours: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM EST.
Desired Skills:
Experience with RF testing and Radar Systems.
Technical training equivalent to an Associate Degree or demonstrated ability to perform assigned tasks.
