JOB TITLE: Electronics Technician - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Palmdale, CA
PAY RATE: $45-50/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex industrial electronic and numerically controlled (NC/CNC) systems and devices

  • Determine appropriate methods and sequences of operation to effectively diagnose and eliminate faults

  • Apply strong knowledge of electrical and electronic theory, maintenance shop practices, and troubleshooting techniques

  • Maintain and repair solid-state components and related devices used in industrial machinery and equipment

  • Read, understand, and apply ladder logic notation and functionality

  • Perform maintenance and repair of complex industrial electronic and numerically controlled systems

  • Exercise comprehensive knowledge of electrical and electronic theory and maintenance procedures to ensure effective system performance

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions, including prototype systems

  • Work at various heights and operate moving and/or telescoping boom vehicles and related equipment as required

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Comfortable working in industrial environments and at elevated heights

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance 

  • High School diploma or GED required (Associate degree or technical certification preferred)

  • Experience troubleshooting and maintaining industrial electronic or CNC-controlled equipment

  • Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and ladder logic

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
