JOB TITLE: Electronics Assembly Technician
LOCATION: Oldsmar, FL 
PAY RATE: Up to $32.40/hour

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Perform manual soldering of electronic components on PCBs per specifications.

• Examine solder joints for defects using magnification tools and conduct functional tests.

• Identify and fix defective solder joints and rework assemblies to meet quality standards.

• Manage surface-mount and through-hole components with care.

• Maintain accurate records of repairs and component usage.

• Follow safety protocols and industry standards while keeping a clean workspace.

• Work with engineers and technicians to resolve technical issues and improve processes.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.

• Experience in soldering or electronics assembly preferred.

• Proficiency in hand soldering and reading schematics.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• IPC-A-610 or IPC-J-STD-001 certification preferred.

• Familiarity with SMT and automated soldering is a plus.

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.

• Manual dexterity for handling small components.

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
