JOB TITLE: Electronics Assembly Technician

Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
Perform manual soldering of electronic components on PCBs per specifications.
Examine solder joints for defects using magnification tools and conduct functional tests.
Identify and fix defective solder joints and rework assemblies to meet quality standards.
Manage surface-mount and through-hole components with care.
Maintain accurate records of repairs and component usage.
Follow safety protocols and industry standards while keeping a clean workspace.
Work with engineers and technicians to resolve technical issues and improve processes.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
Experience in soldering or electronics assembly preferred.
Proficiency in hand soldering and reading schematics.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
IPC-A-610 or IPC-J-STD-001 certification preferred.
Familiarity with SMT and automated soldering is a plus.
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Manual dexterity for handling small components.
