JOB TITLE: Electronic Equipment Test Technician - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Orlando, FL
PAY RATE: $35.96/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Clearance: Ability to obtain Secret clearance (not required to start)

  • Schedule: First shift: Monday–Thursday, 6:30am–4:30pm

  • Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Performs calibration, testing, adjustment, and maintenance of optical, electronic, electromechanical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydro-mechanical, and pressure-type measuring instruments.

  • Sets up calibration sequences and procedures per specifications, blueprints, and drawings.

  • Disassembles, cleans, repairs, and replaces defective parts on test equipment.

  • May monitor and verify quality per statistical process or other control procedures.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required (no degree necessary)

  • Ability to obtain Secret clearance (not required to start)

  • 2+ years experience in:

    • Working with and measuring optics

    • Using test and calibration tools (interferometer, autocollimator, optical alignment scopes, IR equipment, oscilloscope, RF generator, DMM)

    • Electronic and physical calibration

    • Using IndySoft (current calibration system)

    • Microsoft Office Suite to read procedures

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
