JOB TITLE: Electromechanical Technician - DEFENSE
LOCATION: Orlando, FL
PAY RATE: $26-31.73/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Build and assemble cables, prototypes, and production assemblies in both repetitive and non-repetitive environments

  • Repair and maintain field and laboratory equipment/assets

  • Support engineering first builds and prototype development efforts

  • Work from schematics, engineering drawings, 3D models, and verbal/written instructions

  • Operate specialized equipment and perform testing, calibration checks, and reporting of results

  • Make adjustments, modifications, and component replacements as directed

  • Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions as needed

  • Modify and repair test equipment and prototypes based on engineering specifications or liaison input

  • Identify and communicate engineering discrepancies prior to production release

  • Maintain a strong focus on safety and compliance, reporting issues that may impact operations

Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain clearance

  • Must have mechanical and electrical aptitude

  • Ability to identify when engineering drawings or designs require correction

  • Experience supporting engineering first drafts in an assembly environment strongly preferred

  • PPE required: gloves and safety goggles (provided by client as needed)

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
