Summary:Â
Performs complex production assembly and inspection operations on electronic, electrical, and mechanical assemblies and subassemblies. Responsibilities include:
Conducting rework, repairs, and modifications
Performing complex machine setups and maintenance per inspection checklists
Presenting statistical data for team analysis and resolution
Assembling and delivering kits
Performing receiving inspections of incoming materials
Documenting inspection results per procedure
Coordinating workflow and priorities with management and cross-functional teams
Updating work status documentation
Working independently with minimal supervision
Requirements:
10+ years of relevant experience
Strong working knowledge of the following standards:
IPC-J-STD-001: Requirements for Soldered Electrical/Electronic Assemblies
IPC-A-610: Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies
IPC/WHMA-A-620: Cable and Wire Harness Requirements
(Certifications in any of these are a plus)
Ability to read and interpret:
Drawings
Bills of Materials
Build Instructions
Inspection and Test Plans
Proficient in:
Kit checks, part number verification, and performing builds
Self and final inspections on harnesses, components, subassemblies, and assemblies
Installing inline components as documented
Experience with:
LRU (Line Replaceable Units), cabinet, and rack assembly
Harness installation and termination on aircraft (if required)
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
