Job Description

JOB TITLE: Electrical Manufacturing Engineer 3 
LOCATION: Seattle, WA
PAY RATE: $68.50/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Summary: 

  • Own and manage the build plan, ensuring alignment with design configurations and process requirements.

  • Drive design-for-manufacturing efforts and develop comprehensive build plans, including work instructions, tooling, inspection criteria, and more to ensure the end product meets design, testing, and program goals.

  • Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies

  • Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to drive cross-functional solutions

  • Create and maintain build architecture and conceptual designs

  • Lead the development and execution of manufacturing plans

  • Conduct producibility and variation analyses

  • Provide producibility input for project planning and documentation

  • Evaluate and improve design/build concepts for manufacturability

  • Solve complex technical problems impacting performance, cost, or schedule

  • Implement new engineering principles, technologies, and concepts

  • Ensure production readiness and apply lean principles to improve efficiency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry from an accredited institution

  • 3+ years in a production or manufacturing environment

  • 3+ years in a Manufacturing Engineering role

  • 3+ years leading/managing projects or teams

  • Experience with space or military electronics

  • Project management experience

  • Experience with work package estimating

  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical manufacturing processes and assembly sequencing

  • Prior experience with Manufacturing Systems

  • Proficiency with manufacturing tools such as PDM, CAPP, CMES, MESci, EPARTs, GOLDesp

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
