JOB TITLE: Electrical Engineer
LOCATION:

PAY RATE: $110/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Define, design, analyze, test, integrate, certify, and deliver automated test equipment.

  • Support testing of complex electronic systems (analog, digital, RF, power).

  • Perform troubleshooting and integration of hardware systems.

  • Develop and maintain system documentation, interface definitions, and test procedures.

  • Support system verification, validation, and certification activities.

  • Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams to meet cost and schedule commitments.

Requirements:

  • Active DoD Secret clearance.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field) with 6+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 4+ years of experience.

  • Experience with:

    • Electronics design, analysis, testing, and troubleshooting (analog, digital, RF, or power)

    • Schematic capture and simulation tools (e.g., PSPICE, Zuken, LTSpice, HyperLynx, ADS)

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance.

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Experience with:

    • Electrical worst-case and parts stress analysis

    • Hands-on hardware test, troubleshooting, and integration

    • Custom test equipment and test rack design

    • Interface/interconnect diagrams

    • Communication protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN, LVDS, SpaceWire, serial/parallel buses)

    • Program reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, QRR)

    • Missile, satellite, or high-reliability hardware systems

    • Failure investigation and root cause analysis

    • Requirements definition through verification & validation

    • System architecture development and hardware/software integration

    • Leading technical teams

  • PCB layout, stack-up, and routing

  • Cable and harness design

  • Microcontroller circuit and embedded software design

  • S-parameter measurements

  • FPGA design
