Job Description

JOB TITLE: Electrical/Electronic Fabrication Technician - $5,000 Relocation Bonus
LOCATION: 
North Charleston, SC
PAY RATE: $29-38/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

  • Bonus: $5,000 paid to those over 80 miles from the site on first paycheck (bonus must be returned in full if candidate leaves before 6 months for any reason)

  • Shift: Variable (1st, 2nd, or 3rd; based on business need)

  • Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Performs complex production assembly operations on structural parts, mechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and aircraft systems using manual and automated tools.

  • Responsibilities include functional testing of aircraft electrical systems, system troubleshooting, and fault repair.

  • Documents test and analysis data, identifies and escalates production constraints, and supports team development through cross-training and mentoring.

  • Maintains strict adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma/GED required; additional education or equivalent work experience preferred

  • 7+ years of experience in aerospace, fabrication, or manufacturing.

  • 7+ years of electrical assembly and avionics troubleshooting experience.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and relevant software applications.

  • Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.

  • 1+ years of experience following detailed work instructions in English.

  • Ability to work variable shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd).

  • Functional testing and troubleshooting of aircraft electrical systems.

  • Documentation of compliance data and resolution of production issues.

  • Cross-functional collaboration and mentoring.

  • Strong safety and regulatory compliance practices.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift, climb, bend, kneel, crouch, and work in confined spaces.

  • Ability to meet all physical demands of aircraft production work.
