JOB TITLE: Designer
LOCATION: Cape Canaveral, FL
PAY RATE: $40-43/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Shift: 4/10 schedule, First Shift

• Clearance: Ability to obtain required clearance

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Develop, revise, and maintain parts, assemblies, and installation engineering using CREO (or similar 3D CAD: NX, SolidWorks).

• Create new parts, drawings, BOMs, assemblies, simplified representations, and shrinkwraps.

• Complete layout and production drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5 drafting standards.

• Implement design modifications to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

• Provide technical design support to cross-functional team members.

Requirements:

• Ability to obtain required clearance

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).

• Professional experience with 3D CAD systems (CREO preferred; NX or SolidWorks acceptable).

• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

• Experience in machine tool or tooling design/modification.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
