JOB TITLE: Design and Analysis Engineer 6 - Electronic Systems Design & Analysis 
LOCATION: 
Albuquerque, NM
PAY RATE: Up to $128/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (Up to 7 months with potential for extension)

  • Clearance: Active Top Secret Clearance required.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Develop and document moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.

  • Design hardware, software, firmware, and interface specifications.

  • Develop test plans to validate system designs against operational and functional requirements.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with fielded hardware and software across the product lifecycle.

  • Research and apply emerging technologies to business and program needs.

  • Coordinate with suppliers for prototype development and manufacturing.

  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers in electronic design best practices.

Requirements:

 

  • Active Top Secret Clearance required.

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science from an accredited institution.

  • 3+ years developing subsystem requirements.

  • 5+ years researching, developing, or evaluating electrical, electronic, computer, software, and/or firmware requirements.

  • 5+ years designing, developing, and integrating complex electronic systems or subsystems.

  • 5+ years with analog and/or digital circuit design, packaging techniques, and/or power systems.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with high-speed, low-latency electronic design.

  • Experience with firmware development.
