JOB TITLE: Design and Analysis Engineer 3
LOCATION: Berkeley, MO
PAY RATE: $72.00/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Qualifying Questions:

  • Are you a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance?

  • Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

Summary: 

  • Develops, documents, and maintains electronic and electrical system requirements according to customer desires and contract requirements.

  • Develops statement-of-work and technical performance specifications.

  • Analyzes, translates, and implements requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs, and interface specifications.

  • Tests and validates system designs to ensure operational and functional requirements are met.

  • Resolves product integration issues and production anomalies.

  • Investigates emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs.

  • Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.

  • Designs hardware, software, and interface specifications for electronic and electrical systems.

  • Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.

  • Applies knowledge of electronic and electrical system designs or test based on requirements.

Requirements:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance required to start.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

  • 5-9 years of relevant experience in electronic or electrical systems design and analysis.

  • Final U.S. Secret or Top-Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.

  • Experience in the Aerospace Industry.

  • Experience within a design/build or test team.

  • Experience creating, developing, and maintaining engineering processes.

  • Experience with electronic or electrical system designs or test based on requirements.

  • Strong knowledge of data structures, system design, and architecture.

  • Willingness to relocate to the St. Louis, Missouri region at own expense.
