JOB TITLE: Design and Analysis Engineer 3
LOCATION: Berkeley, MO
PAY RATE: $73.50/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

Summary: 

  • Develop, document, and maintain electronic and electrical system requirements in alignment with customer needs and contract requirements.

  • Create statements of work (SOWs) and technical performance specifications.

  • Analyze, translate, and implement requirements into system architecture, hardware/software designs, and interface specifications, ensuring traceability throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Conduct testing and validation to confirm system designs meet operational and functional requirements.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve product integration issues, fielded hardware/software problems, and production anomalies.

  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies to support future product designs and business needs.

  • Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.

  • Support the design, development, and documentation of moderately complex electrical and electronic systems.

  • Collaborate within design, build, and test teams to support product lifecycle activities.

  • Work 100% onsite at the designated location.

Requirements:

  • Active Final U.S. Secret or Top-Secret Clearance required prior to start.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related technical field.

  • 5–9 years of relevant experience in systems, electrical, or electronics engineering.

  • Experience developing and maintaining system requirements, hardware/software designs, and interface specifications.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to electronic/electrical systems and system integration.

  • Ability to conduct testing, validation, and lifecycle support for hardware and software systems.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

  • Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the St. Louis, Missouri region at own expense.

  • Must be a U.S. citizen to comply with security clearance requirements.

  • Experience in the aerospace industry.

  • Experience working in design/build or test teams.

  • Experience creating, developing, or maintaining engineering processes.

  • Experience with electronic/electrical system design or testing based on requirements.

  • Strong understanding of data structures, system design, and architecture.

  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
