JOB TITLE: Design Engineer
LOCATION: Tulsa, OK
PAY RATE: $70/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

• Create solid 3D models in CATIA V5 for aerospace components

• Generate detailed drawing packages, layouts, and engineering documentation

• Perform model release activities ensuring accuracy, compliance, and configuration control

• Collaborate with Integrated Product Team (IPT) members to resolve design challenges

• Provide factory and production floor support during build and assembly

• Convert 2D drawings into 3D models for modernization and optimization initiatives

Requirements:

• 10+ years of aerospace engineering experience (Boeing experience strongly preferred)

• Expertise in structural and mechanical design for aerospace systems

• Advanced proficiency with CATIA V5

• Strong understanding of FAA regulations and aerospace industry standards

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Skills:

• Experience with composite materials and advanced manufacturing techniques

• Familiarity with stress analysis / finite element modeling

• Background supporting design certification processes

• Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program
