JOB TITLE: Design Engineer
LOCATION: Archbald, PA
PAY RATE: $45/hour

Contract Length: 12 months (with potential extension)

Schedule: First shift, 6:00am-4:30pm EST, Monday to Friday.
Qualifying Questions:

Summary:
-
Design major components or systems, or advanced prototypes/products.
-
Develop and improve products to facilitate manufacturing operations.
-
Create preliminary layouts, sketches, and notes for design proposals.
-
Investigate design factors like manufacturability, material availability, and cost.
-
Coordinate with other teams impacted by design developments.
-
Create layouts of assemblies and detailed parts of devices, mechanisms, and structures.
-
Review completed layouts for clarity, accuracy, and compliance with standards.
-
Identify design issues and recommend revisions or improvements.
Requirements:
-
Bachelor's degree (preferred in Mechanical Engineering).
-
3+ years of Design Engineer experience.
-
Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).

Proficient in 3D modeling, particularly with CREO version 9.

CREO design and modeling experience.
-
Experience with Windchill.
-
Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA).

Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
