Job Description

JOB TITLE: Systems Integration and Test Engineer
LOCATION: Orlando, FL
PAY RATE: $58.80/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Contract (10 months with potential for extension)

  • Telework: < 50% (Orlando, FL)

  • Schedule: 4/10A – 1st shift

  • Clearance: Active Secret Clearance required

  • Industry: Aerospace / Defense / Aviation

Qualifying Questions:

Summary: 

  • Generate and execute subsystem and system-level integration and test plans/procedures

  • Support preparation of test equipment and facilities for test events

  • Support DVT and Qualification testing, including:

    • Environmental Stress Screening (ESS)

    • Electromagnetic Interference (EMI)

    • Functional Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP)

  • Support failure investigations and resolve hardware, software, and test equipment anomalies

  • Provide engineering evaluations for redesigns or upgrades to existing test equipment

  • Prepare for and support Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs) and develop final reports/presentations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related STEM field + 5 years of experience

  • 3+ years’ experience with:

    • Common lab equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies)

    • Microsoft Office

    • Electronic testing

    • User Acceptance Testing

    • Electrical troubleshooting

    • Mechanical/electrical concepts

    • Writing technical and end-user documentation

    • Evaluating technical reports

  • 1+ year applying engineering design principles

  • Hardware Integration (2–4 years)

  • Integration (2–4 years)

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Desired Skills:

  • Ability to analyze complex designs and develop test solutions that optimize cost, quality, and schedule

  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)

  • Familiarity with advanced lab equipment (pressure/vacuum chambers, optical measurement tools)

  • Foundational troubleshooting skills in analog and digital electronics

  • Experience writing test plans, procedures, and reports

  • User Acceptance Testing (2–4 years)
